Just a lot of little things to post today. It is snowing again. And cold. And it’s just not fair! Iris’ birthday is next weekend so we went to the craft store today to get some project/activity supplies and boy was it rough fighting against the snow and cold and wind. Yuck. We are planning a big slumber birthday party for which Iris is giddy with anticipation. We sent out invitations last week. The theme of the party is Tinker Bell due to Iris’ infatuation with fairies. There are Tinker Bell decorations, Tinker Bell cake, and we’ll be watching Peter Pan to wind down the evening before bed.
Last weekend we went to my brother’s house for the birthday party of his oldest girl, Grace. They bought a bike from the bike store so it was fun to deliver that to her. It was nice to have all the Marohn cousins together as well. 7 in all! Not bad for having just one brother.
And last for this short little ditty I had to share the dog love. We are so, so lucky to have two dogs and two cats who are all superb with our children. We couldn’t ask for kinder, more gentle animals. Here is Kira riding her doggy horse.
