forks & spoons, plates & bowls

I have been on a mission to get the girls to use their utensils and plates. Mostly the girls think it is a fun game and everything usually lands on the floor fairly quickly. I think we are making slow progress though. Here are the girls after giving them chocolate pudding with bowls and spoons. You may ask where are the bowls and spoons? On the floor, of course!

We purchased a membership to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum this summer and we’ve been having quite a few fun adventures there this year. A few weeks ago we went to check out the shrubs and small bushes to get some ideas for the yard. They have some really great art in trees and sculptures in various places around the Arboretum. Here are the girls having some fun with one of the sculptures.

Ms. Tavie is starting to make it a habit of falling asleep during dinner time. Here she was falling asleep and drinking her milk.

Iris went to Camp Tanadoona yesterday and will be there until Wednesday. We had fun getting her all packed up and ready for camp. She was very excited. Last summer she went for a week-long day camp with one overnight so it is a big adventure to have her there for 3 nights this summer. I’ll share more pictures when I pick her up on Wednesday, but to get my Iris fix for the day I am posting a picture from a camping trip two summers ago. My, how she has grown.
