Our family had a nice Christmas this year. We left on Christmas Eve morning for Bismarck to visit Blayne’s family. There was a lot of eating and hanging out and playing with new toys. We stayed until Saturday and arrived home late that night. Sunday I had my family over for our Christmas. The timing was a bit hectic, but I’m glad we got the chance to see my side of the family, too. Everyone is growing up so fast. I know everyone always says that, but when it’s happening to your own children and the other little people in your life it’s an amazing reality. I didn’t get too many pictures this year, especially in Bismarck, but I’ll post a few of the good ones.
Above: All of the cousins on my side of the family. Elizabeth, Sam, Iris, Owen, Grace, Tavie and Kira. Below: B with Kira opening a present in Bismarck.
The girls on Christmas morning opening presents from Santa. How on earth did Santa find us all the way up in Bismarck?
Tavie with her favorite present from Santa.
Iris with her favorite present from Santa. It is a didg from Leapfrog. Yes, it’s electronic, but all of the games are very educational. She has had her nose in it non-stop since Christmas.

Lisa and Andrew hangin’ in the sunroom.
And finally the girls got their first hair cut from Grandma Dorothy up in Bismarck. It was just a little trim and the girls sat nice and still.
