The verdict is in and we are officially having a baby boy in June. Our due date is June 22. Blayne and I and the twins all piled into the ultrasound room today and had a good look at our little boy! We are thrilled and excited. Of course we would have been happy if we had a girl, too. What is most important is that baby is healthy and growing. But since we have three girls, well, we are over the moon for a boy. This morning before Iris went to school she said, “I’m so excited to get home from school today because I get to find out if I’m having a brother or sister!”.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do with a boy – I’m so used to girls. I’m sure I’ll figure it out though, and I’ll have fun doing it. We don’t have an official baby list of names yet….more to come on that topic!
B is going to help me tomorrow or this weekend figure out how to use the scanner so I’ll post pictures of the little babe when that is all done.
During the ultrasound today I asked the tech how big the baby was and she said he’s about the size of a big banana. I thought that was funny. Also during the us baby was yawning and moving his mouth and when she took a picture of his toes he had a heel tucked in between his big toe and second toe so that his big toe stuck out at a funky angle. It was very, very cute. I can’t wait to meet him in person
