Happy Birthday my darling Tavie and Kira. How lucky and privileged I feel to be your proud mama. Having both of you as daughters has changed my life in so many good ways. I’m so glad you have such a great dad and I’m so happy you have a big sister who loves you and I’m thrilled you have each other, always. The last two years, and nine months, have brought great joy to our lives. We are blessed every day to know such bright and joyous little girls. The light you bring to all of our lives is immense -
Being a parent can be so bitter sweet. I love how my kids grow and change and become independent…..but it’s so hard to know I’ll never hold my little babies again. Now I have toddlers who want to be their own little people, taking steps away from mom and dad every chance they can get.
Here is a little trip through your birthdays. Your birth day. Your first birthday. Your second birthday (well part of it, more to come on that in the next few days!)
My little twins my heart is yours. And your dads. And your big sisters. We love you like crazy.
Here is Tavie, a few hours old. My little 5 pounder.
Here is Kira, a few hours old. My other little five pounder.
