I have been a terrible blogger for the last month. I’ll admit it. I have a long list of reasons, I really do. We were all sick with colds that we just couldn’t get rid of. When most of us were finally feeling better it hit us again. It was terrible! I had just been telling people how healthy we’ve all been this winter. Shouldn’t have opened my big mouth. Lesson learned. My other reasons are mostly related to me being tired and grumpy and pregnant and busy. And I’ve been sewing up a storm most evenings. Pretty much I’m obsessed right now. My mother-in-law gave me a new Bernina sewing machine that has rocked my sewing world. And I came across a cheap Singer Featherweight sewing machine that has me oh so absorbed as well. I’ve been sewing for the baby room, sewing darling little dresses and skirts for darling little girls, and quilting.
I have a lot to catch up on here and a lot of pictures to share so I’ll try to light the proverbial fire under my blogging ass and get some good stuff on here in the next few weeks. I’ll try.
Until then, here is a picture of Iris who was delighted to get a home-made skirt from mom. Actually, she is the one I have to thank for putting up this blog entry. She insisted I take a picture of her and put it up on my blog. That girl will do anything for an audience. And here is another set of pictures that just crack me up. The girls were all reading in a row and Kira had a box on her head for some reason. Oh the simple, hilarious, wonderful joys of motherhood.
