Ben: The newest addition to our family! A Facebook friend was trying to find a home for the last Gordon Setter from her “accidental” litter. He was on his way to the pound but we said we would come take a look. On a cold January evening we packed up the kids and had our look. Of course, you can’t just visit such a cute puppy without taking him home! We named him Ben, short for Benjamin, because we paid a hundred bucks for him. He’s a mellow little puppy, but all of the barbies in the house have lost their hands and feet since he came to live with us.
Dez: We adopted Dez from a shelter shortly after the twins were born. We still can’t figure out why someone gave him up. He is my running parter extraordinaire.
Page: Page is just about the sweetest doggy in the world. Blayne has had her since 1998 and she is also from a shelter. She is an old lady and a mother hen with the children. She has lost her hearing but has boundless energy in her old age.
Dinah: Dinah is a shy cat and she has a strong dislike of dogs.
Lou: Iris got Lou for her 3rd birthday. Since he has been dressed in doll clothes and used as a medical patient from the time he was a kitten, he is extremely patient and malleable with the children. He’s a great snuggler.
